            A well-balanced attack led Langham Creek over Waller in every quarter on their way to victory  on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Langham Creek Lobos blew the Waller Bulldogs out of the water with  a  59-24 final score. Given the Lobos' advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 228th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 513th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

Langham Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brooke Prevost, who  almost  dropped  a triple-double on 16  points, 11  rebounds,  and nine  steals. The  matchup was  Prevost's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Envy Jackson, who  went 7 for 13  on her way to 18 points and three  steals.
 Langham Creek was working as a unit and  finished the game with 13  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waller only posted four  assists.
 Despite the  loss, Waller had strong showings from  Jayana Phillips, who  posted 11  points along with eight  boards and three  steals, and  Trinity Prince, who  earned six points and seven  rebounds. Phillips continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played.
The  victory made it two in a row for Langham Creek and  bumps their season record up to 18-13. As for Waller,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 14-16.
 Langham Creek has  already played their next  contest (against Cypress Lakes), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waller will head out on the road to  square off against  Cypress Springs  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Cypress Springs will roll in looking for their  22nd straight  win, something Waller surely won't give up without a fight.
