Basketball Recap: Kewanee Comes Up Short

Kewanee lost against Newman Central Catholic back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kewanee Boilermakers fell 61-51 to the Newman Central Catholic Comets. The Boilermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kewanee's loss dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Newman Central Catholic, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-14.

Coming up, Kewanee will take on Mendota at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newman Central Catholic, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
