Alexander comes up short despite Meghan Ritchie's dominant performance

If the Alexander Cougars were riding high off their 54-22 takedown of the Pebblebrook Falcons last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Alexander had to suffer through a rough 60-19 loss at the hands of Dalton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alexander has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Alexander still got an impressive performance from Meghan Ritchie, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Dalton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Alexander won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lassiter at 1:00 p.m. on December 29th. Lassiter is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Dalton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westlake at 4:00 p.m. on December 29th. Westlake presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dalton in Georgia (Westlake is ranked 47th, while Dalton is ranked 152nd).
