            Kennewick and Richland are an even 5-5 against one another  since January of 2019, but  not for long. The Kennewick Lions will welcome the Richland Bombers  at 5:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Given that  both  suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
Richland is facing Kennewick at the wrong time: Kennewick suffered their first home loss of the  season on Saturday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell  62-51 to the Bears. The Lions were up  22-7 in the first  quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Richland's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They took a  blow against Kamiakin, falling  67-39. While losing is never fun, the Bombers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings  (they are ranked 156th, while the Braves are ranked 35th).
 Richland's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Kennewick, their defeat  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 10-3.
 Kennewick strolled past Richland in their previous matchup  back in December of 2024 by a score of  64-48. Does  Kennewick have another victory up their sleeve, or will Richland turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
