Recap: Hurley Rebels vs. River View Raiders
The Hurley Rebels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of River View by a score of 60-57. Hurley has struggled against River View recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
River View can attribute much of their success to Jackson Danielson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Newberry, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Hurley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for River View, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hurley will take on Tolsia at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for River View, they will be playing at home against Richwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
