Softball Recap: South Kitsap Takes a Loss

South Kitsap fell victim to Puyallup and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Friday.

South Kitsap saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eva Spencer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

South Kitsap has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Puyallup, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

While South Kitsap had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
