Swampscott has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 15. They lost 4-0 to the East Boston Jets on Friday. While losing is never fun, Swampscott can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while East Boston are ranked 40th).

Swampscott now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for East Boston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-3.
