Silver Bluff took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bamberg-Ehrhardt, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Silver Bluff Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Red Raiders since March 23, 2017.

Ryley Bowman made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Bowman was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Bowman wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Kent, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Silver Bluff back to even at 3-3. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Silver Bluff will welcome Keenan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, they will head out on the road to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
