Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Balmorhea). They breezed by the Fort Davis Indians to the tune of 69-33 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Bears who have now won four contests in a row.

Balmorhea pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.1 points over those games. As for Fort Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Balmorhea and Fort Davis are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Balmorhea will be playing at home against Sanderson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Balmorhea is facing Sanderson at the right time seeing as Sanderson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fort Davis, they will venture away from home to take on Rankin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
