Basketball Recap: Dock Mennonite Falls Short of Constitution in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dock Mennonite can now relate to. They received a blow on Saturday as they fell 59-44 to the Constitution Generals. The Pioneers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Constitution's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nick Young led the charge by shooting 67% from the field on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Khair White-Blaylock, who posted 14 points.

Dock Mennonite's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Constitution, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-10.

As of now, neither Dock Mennonite nor Constitution have any future games scheduled.
