Football Recap: Hopkins County Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Hopkins County Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the Murray Tigers 45-12. The game marked the Storm's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Hopkins County Central still got an impressive performance from Sylas Gunn, who rushed for 120 yards and one score on only 14 carries, and also threw for 69 yards and one TD.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Murray to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amarion Bomar, who rushed for 79 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Robbins, who threw for 188 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes.

Hopkins County Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Murray, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
