Football Recap: Tolleson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Tolleson's offense. They took a blow against the Highland Hawks on Tuesday, falling 49-0.

Alexis Eley was a one-woman wrecking crew For Highland. as she threw for 191 yards and five TDs while completing 71.4% of her passes, and also rushed for 42 yards. Emilee Searle was Eley's top target, picking up 87 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tolleson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tolleson will venture away from home to challenge Pinnacle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland, they will face off against O'Connor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
