Baseball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

Irving lost against Berkner last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Rams, falling 8-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Irving saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeffery Arevalo, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16-1. As for Berkner, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Irving will face off against rival MacArthur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Berkner is set to square off against their familiar foe Dallas Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
