Soccer Game Preview: Lee Academy vs. George Stevens Academy

Saturday just wasn't the day for Lee Academy's offense. They fell just short of Shead by a score of 1-0 last Saturday.

Meanwhile, George Stevens Academy entered their tilt with Hodgdon on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Hawks.

George Stevens Academy hit Hodgdon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Halle Clifford (2), Logan Townsend, and Emma Perry-St Peter.

George Stevens Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Lee Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Lee Academy came up short against George Stevens Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Pandas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
