Baseball Game Preview: Escambia County Blue Devils vs. Excel Panthers

Escambia County is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Excel an eight-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Escambia County Blue Devils will welcome the Excel Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Escambia County lost 14-4 to W.S. Neal on Friday.

Escambia County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamarion Robinson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Robinson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Jamarrion Silar also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Excel fell victim to Andalusia and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-0.

Excel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Escambia County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
