Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 62-50 to the Newton South Lions.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Newton South, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Everett will take on East Boston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Everett is facing East Boston at the right time seeing as East Boston is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Newton South, they will be playing at home against Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Newton South's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
