Baseball Recap: McFarland Comes Up Short

McFarland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Oconomowoc Raccoons.

McFarland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Gauwitz, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Oconomowoc, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

McFarland will head out on the road to take on Lodi at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oconomowoc, they will welcome Kettle Moraine at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
