Roseburg is 9-1 against Willamette since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Roseburg will head out to face off against Willamette at 4:30 p.m. Roseburg will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
Roseburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oregon's top teams: Century, who was ranked 20th at the time (Roseburg was ranked fifth). Roseburg walked away with a 4-1 victory over Century on Tuesday.
Jasmine Morales spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ciera Singleton was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Terra Singleton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Willamette fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against North Eugene on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders. The game marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Willamette also let their pitcher toss all eight innings and she was also dialed-in: Jadynn Ireland gave up five earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 16 Ks. Those 16 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Ireland.
On the hitting side, Sophie Robins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Roseburg's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Willamette, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Roseburg hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. However, it's not like Willamette struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Roseburg took their victory against Willamette in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0. Does Roseburg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Willamette turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
