Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gilead Christian). They strolled past Varsity Opponent with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 52-38. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-22 back in December of 2024.

Gilead Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Talan Blankenship, who went 10 for 19 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Joe Bossard, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Gilead Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Gilead Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Faith Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
