Volleyball Game Preview: King-Chavez Community Lions vs. Army-Navy Warriors

The King-Chavez Community Lions will square off against the Army-Navy Warriors at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, King-Chavez Community didn't have quite enough to beat Cristo Rey and fell 3-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King-Chavez Community actually scored more points across those five sets (106-103), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 26-24, 25-21, 22-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Army-Navy came up short against Tri-City Christian on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-27, 25-14, 25-9.

King-Chavez Community's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Army-Navy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

King-Chavez Community might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Army-Navy in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
