Soccer Game Preview: Four Corners vs. McLaughlin

The Four Corners Coyotes will head out to take on the McLaughlin Phoenix at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Four Corners is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Auburndale just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Friday. Neither they nor the Bloodhounds could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept Four Corners happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 3rd.

Meanwhile, McLaughlin fell victim to Tenoroc and their airtight defense last Friday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 8-0.

With that draw, Four Corners' record moves to 8-1-2. As for McLaughlin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Four Corners took their win against McLaughlin in their previous matchup back in November by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
