Basketball Game Preview: Madison Dragons vs. Plainview Pirates

The Madison Dragons will take on the Plainview Pirates in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Plainview won against Elgin/Pope John on Friday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Plainview came out on top against Lutheran-Northeast by a score of 61-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Plainview's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Madison, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
