Volleyball Recap: Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs vs. Whiteland Warriors
Franklin Community extended their postseason success on Saturday against Whiteland. They blew past the Whiteland Warriors 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzly Cubs also won the last time the pair played back in September.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-21.
Franklin Community can attribute much of their success to Kate Pinnick, who had 11 digs. Pinnick is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Franklin Community's fifth in a row) raised their record to 26-3. As for Whiteland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-21.
Franklin Community will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against East Central at 6:00 p.m. Whiteland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
