Football Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Frost Polar Bears, falling 38-14. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Polar Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Frost, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Meridian will challenge rival Bremond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Frost is set to face off against their familiar foe Goldthwaite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
