Alexander had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Pepperell Dragons by a score of 2-0. The Cougars were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Dragons, so the Cougars were just returning the favor.

Alexander's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Pepperell, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-12 record.

Alexander will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Douglas County at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Pepperell, they will head out on the road to square off against Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
