River Valley fell victim to Athens and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 19-0 to the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

River Valley's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Athens, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
