Preview: WF West Bearcats vs. Port Angeles Roughriders
WF West has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Port Angeles Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, WF West's game was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Black Hills by a score of 56-49.
WF West got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Klatush out in front who scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Klatush has scored at least 25% of WF West's points. Lucas Hoff was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Port Angeles had to settle for a 57-55 loss against Neah Bay on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Port Angeles has scored all season.
WF West now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Port Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.
