Softball Game Preview: Wall Township Crimson Knights vs. Colts Neck Cougars

Wall Township and Colts Neck are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Crimson Knights will host the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Wall Township didn't have quite enough to beat Pinelands Regional and fell 8-7. The Crimson Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Colts Neck didn't have quite enough to beat Red Bank Catholic on Thursday and fell 4-2.

Ellie Mager was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Colts Neck's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wall Township, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
