Basketball Recap: Springfield Renaissance Beats Taunton for Their 12th Straight Win

Springfield Renaissance put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Taunton Tigers with a sharp 66-46 victory. Springfield Renaissance has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Springfield Renaissance to victory were Sy'Nye Baker and Zi'Yan Wallace. Baker posted 20 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds, while Wallace dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 boards. The game was Wallace's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Chassidy Rios was another key player, putting up eight points and six steals.

Springfield Renaissance's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Taunton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
