Catholic is 8-2 against Central since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rockets will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 15 goals over their last three contests.

Catholic's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Conway. Give Catholic's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Central's offense. They came up short against Bryant on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Bryant are ranked eighth).

Catholic pushed their record up to 11-1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six games. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-5.

Catholic took their win against Central in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
