Thornwood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Thornridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Thunderbirds will look to defend their home field against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Thornridge took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Thornwood, who comes in off a win.

Thornwood will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Rich Township, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Thunderbirds were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Raptors on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by nine runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Thornridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Thornwood, falling 22-5.

Thornwood has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.4 runs over those games. As for Thornridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.
