Volleyball Recap: Madison Highland Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Madison Highland Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Phoenix Christian Cougars, falling 3-0. The Heat were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-14.

Olivia Newhouse paced Madison Highland Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Newhouse got some help from Minnie Clemens and her six assists. Khloe Faapito controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Madison Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Phoenix Christian, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-11.

Madison Highland Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Camp Verde on the 29th. As for Phoenix Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Red Rock on the 30th.
