Basketball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

If Pleasant Hill wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Greenfield/Northwestern, they should've done a better job of containing Wyatt Stuart. The Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers were the clear victor by a 70-50 margin over the Pleasant Hill Wolves on Tuesday thanks in part to Stuart, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Greenfield/Northwestern's points.

Another player making a difference was Griffin Rothe, who posted five points in addition to five boards and five steals. Those five boards gave him a new career-high.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Pleasant Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Greenfield/Northwestern will challenge Griggsville-Perry at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield/Northwestern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.8 points per game this season. As for Pleasant Hill, they will head out to face off against Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
