Volleyball Recap: Faribault Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Faribault can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Stewartville Tigers on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-6, 25-14.

Stewartville was led to victory by Reagan Mittelstadt and Clara Theobald. Mittelstadt had 20 digs, while Theobald had 18 assists and three aces. That's the most digs Mittelstadt has posted over her last six contests. Another player making a difference was Abbie Langseth, who had 11 assists.

Faribault's loss dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Stewartville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-4.

As of now, neither Faribault nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
