Volleyball Game Preview: South Iredell Vikings vs. Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots

South Iredell is 0-5 against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy since March of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, South Iredell made easy work of Woodlawn and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Trailblazers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy entered their tilt with Lincoln Charter last Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 18-25, 25-22.

Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for South Iredell, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
