The Steilacoom Sentinels will challenge the Bethel Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Steilacoom has three straight wins, Bethel has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Steilacoom's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Lakes with a sharp 12-0 victory. The Sentinels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.
Keanan Ogilvie made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Ogilvie was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Greyson Garza, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Bud Castaneda was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Bethel fell victim to Emerald Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars.
Bethel also got a good showing from Kingston Alderette, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the first time Alderette hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in April of 2025.
Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Steilacoom, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Bethel's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Steilacoom hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. It's a different story for Bethel, though, as they've only averaged .223. Will they be able to contain Steilacoom's hitters?
Steilacoom came out on top in a nail-biter against Bethel in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Sentinels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
