Basketball Recap: Roane County Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McMinn Central, Roane County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tellico Plains Bears by a score of 68-59. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Bears last Monday, they had to take a 77-71 defeat.

Roane County's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Tellico Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roane County has already played their next matchup (against Meigs County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tellico Plains will square off against Sweetwater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
