Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tullahoma, Lawrence County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles 2-1.

Despite the loss, St. Benedict at Auburndale still got an impressive performance from Abby Sones, who had 11 assists and four digs.

Lawrence County's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lawrence County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Brighton on the 23rd. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Munford on the 22nd.
