North Lenoir's tournament run continued when they took on Ayden - Grifton on Saturday. North Lenoir took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ayden - Grifton. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly 11 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Southwest Onslow, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Wallace-Rose Hill with a sharp 65-44 victory on Friday. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Southwest Onslow's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24 points. As for North Lenoir, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
