Volleyball Game Preview: Regina Dominican Panthers vs. Trinity Blazers + Official Tickets

Regina Dominican is 2-8 against Trinity since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will host the Blazers at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Regina Dominican took on Woodlands Academy on Tuesday. The Panthers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Regina Dominican was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Trinity had just enough and edged out Chicago University 2-1 on Thursday.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Trinity got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-22.

The victory got Regina Dominican back to even at 10-10. As for Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
