Soccer Recap: East Ascension Comes Up Short

East Ascension was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Episcopal Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by just one goal.

East Ascension's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-5. As for Episcopal, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Ascension will take on Walker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Episcopal, they will host Dunham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
