Football Recap: Klein Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 67 points the game before, Klein Forest was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a blow against the Magnolia Bulldogs, falling 50-6. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Klein Forest lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was James Robinson, who threw for 223 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 49 yards. A healthy portion of Robinson's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) went to Dejaune Etheridge.

Klein Forest has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.6 points over those games. As for Magnolia, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Coming up, Klein Forest will face off against Klein Cain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Magnolia, they will square off against Klein Collins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
