Football Recap: McCamey Comes Up Short

McCamey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Sonora Broncos and fell 47-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Badgers of the 40-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

McCamey's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sonora, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

McCamey and Sonora will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Badgers see the field they'll take on Wink at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Sonora, their break will end when they face Forsan at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
