Grove Christian School scored the most  runs they've had  this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost  21-5 to The Carmel School Wildcats. The  defeat leaves the Falcons still looking for their first win of the season.
  Carter Haithcock was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jesse Winterhalter, who  got on base  in both of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases and one  run.
Grove Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for The Carmel School, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-5.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Grove Christian School is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Grace Christian School  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, The Carmel School will  face off against  rival Richmond Christian  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
