There's no place like home for Franklin Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Perry Meridian Falcons on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Carsten Bland, who got on base in four of his eight plate appearances with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Landen Basey, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in five of his eight plate appearances.

Franklin Community's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Perry Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
