Baseball Recap: Winamac Comes Up Short

Winamac lost to Caston back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Xavier Adriano made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Hutch Martin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Winamac's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Caston, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Winamac had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
