Riverside had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Boiling Springs Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Riverside not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Boiling Springs between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Laila Bowden paced Riverside's offense, picking up five kills. Bowden got some help from Corinne Christopher and her seven assists. Bowden was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pendleton on the 16th. As for Boiling Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against J.L. Mann on the 16th.
