Hoggard had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They blew past the Ashley Screaming Eagle 51-13. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Tristan Shivers, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 20 points in addition to six assists and five steals. What's more, she also posted a 70% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was AK Chance, who posted 11 points.

Hoggard smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 11 consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Ashley still got an impressive performance from Reagan Norris, who scored six points.

Hoggard pushed their record up to 21-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.4 points. As for Ashley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Hoggard has already played their next match, a 52-35 victory against South Brunswick on the 11th. As for Ashley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-56 loss against Topsail on the 11th.
