Basketball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century lost against Owatonna back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Century Panthers took a hard 62-45 fall against the Owatonna Huskies. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Century has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Owatonna, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Century and Owatonna could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Century (ranked 167th) will meet Faribault (ranked 48th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Owatonna will face off against John Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 110 places (137 vs. 27).
