Capital has gone 9-1 against Timberline recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Golden Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Capital is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Rocky Mountain, who was ranked second at the time (Capital was ranked 21st). The Golden Eagles took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies on Friday. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the loss, Capital had strong showings from Brayden Dudley, who threw for 440 yards and five touchdowns, and Quincey Clay, who gained 201 total yards and four touchdowns. With that strong performance, Clay is now averaging an impressive 110.5 receiving yards per game. Elliot Schrack was Dudley's top target, picking up 168 receiving yards and one TD.
Meanwhile, Timberline strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 33-7 margin over Meridian. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 26 points or more this season.
Capital better keep an eye on Jack Brant. He was instrumental in Timberline's win, rushing for 156 yards and three scores on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 90 yards and one touchdown.
Timberline was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Timberline didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nash Okelley, Hudson Lewis, and Fletch Scudder picked up one apiece. Okelley is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least seven every time he's taken the field this season. Owen Froehlich was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble, making two total tackles, and defending four passes.
Timberline's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
